The “Sous le Puits” vineyard, perched on the upper slopes of Blagny with a favorable south-eastern exposure, benefits from excellent drainage and sunlight, contributing to the wine’s finesse and aromatic precision. The name, meaning “under the well,” references a nearby natural spring that nourishes the vines.
Vinified using traditional Burgundian methods, the wine undergoes complete malolactic fermentation and is aged for 8–10 months in French oak barrels (50% new, medium toast) from the Louis Latour cooperage.
