Auto Fill Probe - Level Water Filling Probe

Auto-Fill Water Level Probe (150mm, 1/4" BSP)

A water level sensing probe for auto-fill boilers. The upper fitting threads down into the lower fitting, compressing the probe against an internal PTFE sleeve to create the seal.

• 150mm length, 1/4" male BSP thread

COMPATIBILITY

• Fits: espresso machines using a 1/4" BSP threaded auto-fill probe; can be trimmed shorter with wire snips if needed
• Works with: on Nuova Simonelli equipment, the probe is bent before installation into the side of the boiler

INSTALLATION

DIY-friendly, but take a measurement first, see the Pro Tips below.

PRO TIPS

• Before removing your old probe, mark with a permanent marker exactly where it exits the fitting, and compare the length to your new one, this keeps your fill level from shifting after the swap.
• On Nuova Simonelli machines, the probe ships straight but needs to be bent to match your old one before installing, keep the old probe on hand as a bending template.
• If your probe is mounted in the sight glass, swap its position with the anti-siphon valve instead: scale buildup in the lower pipe feeding the sight glass can block it, trapping water at a fixed level and giving the probe a false reading as the actual boiler level drops.
